Add a “priority” level to each competitor
Chris Meyer
The goal is to be able to assign a priority to each competitor, so that Competitot Intel will favor higher‑priority competitors in its suggestions and insights.
This would allow us to clearly organize competitors into two main categories:
Competition
Inspiration
In practice, the priority would define the order in which Intel surfaces data and recommendations to me.
For example:
High priority: always show first in lists, comparisons, alerts, trend reports, and content ideas.
Medium/low priority: still visible, but less prominent in suggestions and dashboards.
__Why this would help__
More relevant insights: Intel would focus first on the competitors that matter most strategically for a channel.
Better organization: It becomes easier to separate “who I’m really competing against” from “who I’m just learning from”.
Faster decision‑making: When looking at trends, ideas, or performance gaps, I immediately see what’s happening with my top competitors.
__Possible implementations (just suggestions)__
I’m not sure what’s the best UX for this, but here are a few ideas:
A priority field when adding / editing a competitor (e.g. High / Medium / Low or Competition / Inspiration).
Ability to sort and filter competitors by priority in the Competitors tab.
Intel using this priority to:Rank which competitors are shown first in suggestions and reports,Weigh them more heavily when generating insights and recommendations.
That’s the core idea: give us a way to tell Intel which competitors matter most, so its insights are better aligned with our strategy.
Thank you for considering this improvement!
