1. Review renamed to Export
The "Review" step in the script builder is the primary place where you can copy and download your script.
To better clarify the goal of this step, I've renamed it to "Export".

2. Script Status
The Dashboard shows a badge indicating the status of each script.
The status can be Title, Draft, Publish, etc. This indicates the last step you've completed in the script building workflow.
To date the last status has been Edit. But I've just added two new statuses
Export
- Triggered when you copy or download your script or researchPublish
- Triggered when you generate tags or a description3. Video Description
On the Settings page for your channel, there is now a Video Description field. If you typically include the same footer / template in each of your video descriptions, this is a great place to add it.
Anything you put here will be appended to the bottom of the descriptions that get generated on the Publish step of the script builder.

new
Teleprompter
If you'e reading your script aloud, the new Teleprompter feature will be a huge help. It loads your script in a large font size and autoscrolls.
You can use the keyboard to adjust the speed and start/stop as you go, making it easier than ever to record an entire script in just one take.
From your channel dashboard or from the Review step of the script builder, you'll now see the new Teleprompter link.
Working with a voiceover artist? You can now use the Team Controls to give them Viewer access to your channel so they can quickly access the teleprompter too.

While you always had the ability to invite team members to your Subscribr account, there previously was no way to restrict access to certain features.
But now you have three roles to pick from:
Admin
- users who have access to everythingEditor
- users who can manage channels and create scriptsViewer
- users who can view channels and scripts but can't editEven better, you can now restrict which channels a given user has access to.
With these controls in place, you can invite your voiceover and thumbnail artists to work on your channel. Or, you could create a channel for each marketing client and share access separately.
Lastly, invited team members can now sign up with a password, removing the previous requirement to sign up via Google auth only.
Head to your Team Settings page to set things up.

Have you ever wanted to copy a message from Ideation Chat and paste it into another place like Google Docs?
If so, you may have noticed the formatting was lost 😦
I've just rolled out an update which fixes this so the formatting of the message will be copied. It may not be perfect, but will get you a lot closer to being a nice, readable result.

To switch to dark mode in Subscribr, click the Theme icon at the top right. Then select "Dark" or "System", with system using your computer's preference.

With 46 upvotes in the roadmap post, dark mode is one of the most highly requested features. This was a really big project that's been a long time coming.
Because it required updating every single page in the app, I'm actively looking for bugs. To incentive everyone to help test, I am offering up to 10 credits per issue you find with dark mode. Dark mode bugs could mean unreadable buttons, incorrect background colors, or other styling which makes the page hard to understand.
To submit a dark mode bug report:
- Use the help bubble at the bottom left of the app
- Include a screenshot of the issue you've found
I will evaluate each issue and reward UP TO 10 credits based on the severity of the issue.
Please keep in mind that some existing styles may be intentional and the rewards are at my discretion.
I hope you enjoy the new dark mode and it helps improve your workflow.
Ideation Chat is now mobile friendly :-)

Several New Languages Added
Subscribr now supports several new languages for scriptwriting. The new updates include:
- Chinese (Simplified and Traditional)
- Hebrew
- Filipino
- Norwegian
- Japanese
- Estonian
From Ideation Chat, you can click the "Save Idea" button to analyze the chat thread and uncover 1 or more script ideas to save. This simple workflow can bring you right into creating a script, with the Topic field already populated. A huge timesaver - but it hasn't always been reliable.
I've just rolled out some improvements to make this button both more reliable and better able to capture the chat context in order to provide an accurate topic.
Give it a try and let me know what you think :-)
Would you like to make changes to the writing style Subscribr uses for your scripts?
Now editing your channel voice is easier than ever, with a new "Simple Mode."
You'll see a big box where you can type in any feedback you have about your channel voice. Subscribr will then offer suggestions on how to improve each of the 17 elements of your channel voice. You can choose to accept the changes, or go back and edit again.
You can still access "Advanced Mode" with the ability to edit each of the 17 voice elements individually.
Give it a try today!

Ideation Chat now has the ability to perform web searches as needed.
Ask it about current news and events, or any other information you want to research.
You can use this as one of your first steps in ideating a new script idea.
Perfect for channels covering recent events.
