If you search for @ChannelName"in Intel, and the channel doesn't yet exist in the index, it will be added for you and will automatically update as part of the index.

Managing your YouTube presence in Subscribr is now easier than ever.

By popular demand, you now have the ability to edit the audience avatar generated by Subscribr.

From your channel's Audience page, click the Actions button and select "Edit Avatar".

You'll able to edit each element of the avatar to make it perfect.

The new Custom Channel feature lets you create a brand new channel in Subscribr by simply describing your target audience - perfect if you haven't launched your YouTube channel yet.

From your Channels page, click "Add Channel" and select the "Create Custom Channel" option.

After entering your channel name, description, and target audience, Subscribr will get to work creating a detailed audience avatar and channel voice perfectly suited to your audience.

Perhaps you began using Subscribr by entering your competitor's channel. But now you have your own channel, and you'd like to switch the YouTube channel that Subscribr links to. You can accomplish this with the new Channel Linking feature.

To get started, head to your channel's Settings page. At the bottom you'll see a new Channel Connection section.

Click the Unlink Channel button to remove the direct link between your channel in Subscribr and the YouTube channel it's currently associated with. Don't worry - you won't lose any of your scripts or other settings.

Next, if you'd like to link your channel in Subscribr to a new YouTube channel, head down to the same section again and click Link Channel.

You'll be asked to enter the channel handle. You'll also have the option to keep your existing audience avatar, or to use one based on analyzing the content of the YouTube channel you're linking to. When in doubt, opt to keep your custom audience. You can always update it later if desired by clicking the "Refresh Audience" button on your audience page.

Subscribr now supports scriptwriting with Gemini 2.5 Pro and Grok v3!

I've found Gemini to be a very good model for adhering to writing instructions.

Grok should be better for sensitive topics that other models refuse to write about.

Ideation Chat now has an index of 25k channels and 1.5M videos that you can ask questions about.

You can use this to discover new channels or videos to get ideas for improving your own content.

In these examples you'll notice that you can even filter the results by things like outlier scores, view counts, subscriber counts, publish date, and more.

This is a brand new feature and I'm working hard to improve both the size of the index, as well as the way Ideation Chat uses the index to deliver insights about the channels and videos it finds.

Now you can choose between 3 different AI models for your scripts:

When Subscribr first started, Claude was by far the best writing model. But these other models have recently caught up. And so I wanted to bring them to you and give you the choice of which to write with.

You may find that GPT 4o writes a bit faster, while the new DeepSeek V3 model is slower but quite exceptional - especially for stories.

Choose your model by visiting the Settings page for your channel, and adjusting the model from the dropdown menu:

Once you've chosen your preferred AI model in Channel Setting, Subscribr will automatically use this model whenever you:

Your model selection applies to all new content generation but doesn't affect previously generated content. This gives you complete control over which AI brain powers your scriptwriting process.

Stay tuned because what's coming next with Ideation Chat is going to be pretty crazy.

The "Review" step in the script builder is the primary place where you can copy and download your script.

To better clarify the goal of this step, I've renamed it to "Export".

The Dashboard shows a badge indicating the status of each script.

The status can be Title, Draft, Publish, etc. This indicates the last step you've completed in the script building workflow.

To date the last status has been Edit. But I've just added two new statuses

- Triggered when you copy or download your script or research

- Triggered when you generate tags or a description

On the Settings page for your channel, there is now a Video Description field. If you typically include the same footer / template in each of your video descriptions, this is a great place to add it.

Anything you put here will be appended to the bottom of the descriptions that get generated on the Publish step of the script builder.

If you'e reading your script aloud, the new Teleprompter feature will be a huge help. It loads your script in a large font size and autoscrolls.

You can use the keyboard to adjust the speed and start/stop as you go, making it easier than ever to record an entire script in just one take.

From your channel dashboard or from the Review step of the script builder, you'll now see the new Teleprompter link.

Working with a voiceover artist? You can now use the Team Controls to give them Viewer access to your channel so they can quickly access the teleprompter too.

While you always had the ability to invite team members to your Subscribr account, there previously was no way to restrict access to certain features.

But now you have three roles to pick from:

- users who have access to everything

- users who can manage channels and create scripts

- users who can view channels and scripts but can't edit

Even better, you can now restrict which channels a given user has access to.

With these controls in place, you can invite your voiceover and thumbnail artists to work on your channel. Or, you could create a channel for each marketing client and share access separately.

Lastly, invited team members can now sign up with a password, removing the previous requirement to sign up via Google auth only.

Head to your Team Settings page to set things up.
